We went to some clubs Wednesday night (which was what it was), Thursday I stayed in, Friday we went to Blind Eye per usual and last night I stayed in. Crossclub was rumored to be closing after Wednesday night (which wasn't true) so we went to check it out. It's a cool looking place, and there was a cat and dog chilling at the coat check, but the music there was terrible and I hit my head on the ceiling after trying to stand up to my full height while on this loft area that had tables.
Thursday I tried to haggle with this lady at a thrift store to lower the price of the skirt thirty crowns, based on the fact that its waist was so small that no one else would ever buy it. She did not agree.
Friday I went to check out the Easter Market in Old Town Square, but they have yet to finish setting things up. It smelled like cedar (from the little booths/huts) and everything was decorated in flowers though, so it was still cute.
A little later a bunch of us went to the Fun Fair that opened up in Prague 7. There was lots of cheap, greasy food and also lots of sweets. The whole place looked like it was straight out of the '80s; there were even airbrushed pictures of the cast of 90210 on the sides of rides. I only rode on a really bad haunted house and the ferris wheel; I really doubt that there are many safety regulations and also I just didn't want to get sick. However, as we were leaving I saw an awesome-looking haunted house called "The Roller Ghoster" and I wished I had waited for this one instead of the first one. It was a really pretty day, but it got chillier as the day went on and we ended up at the Globe bookstore, then back home for a nap and dinner before going out.

Yesterday and today I went to different cafes to read. Yesterday's didn't have any English on the menu, but what I got was a plate of fixings for delicious prosciutto/tomato/olive oil/balsamic vinegarette sandwiches. Today I had vegetable soup with garlic butter toast. Both good finds. I realized tonight that I find waiters to be much nicer to me when I am eating alone and reading a book. More incentive to be alone? Yes.
Girls come Thursday.
